Let's think outside the backyard.
So often we view pergolas as backyard fixtures. We describe them as “backyard focal points” and suggest using them to “turn your backyard into a peaceful oasis.” Endless inspiration photos show pergolas shading comfortable patio seating, defining a dreamy outdoor dining area complete with a farmhouse table (thank you, Fixer Upper), covering an outdoor kitchen – all in the backyard. All well and good – but are we missing something?
What about the front of your home? Pergolas have a place there too. Pergolas are, after all, beautiful structures – why not use them to improve your curb appeal? One of our customers did just that with our Woodlands pergola. Check out her photos:

If you have a home with no front porch or defined entryway, why not add a pergola? Installing a pergola is a fraction of the cost of adding a new front porch, but provides just as much curb appeal. It provides some shade. It adds dimension. And it just looks good. Pergolas come in a variety of sizes, colors and styles. Find one that fits the style of your home.
